The Porongorups region is not only one of the most amazing places to see nature at it’s finest, it is also a producer of some of the most amazing wines you will ever enjoy.
There’s so much to see and do that one day won’t be enough.
We highly recommend allocating one day purely for touring the Porongurups wine region and exploring all the wineries of the are. Be sure to stock up on some delicious wines to take home with you.

If exploring is your style then you definitely need to keep a day for exploring. Pack a picnic lunch, make sure you have plenty of water and suitable footwear and head out to explorer Castle rock walking trails, through to the Stirling Range National Park & Bluff Knoll.
Take your time, take in the sheer natural beauty of the area and be sure to capture some great photos along the way.
If you are headed out into the walking trails, please ensure you have let someone know where you are going and an estimation of your return time. Afterall, it’s better to be safe than sorry when exploring the great outdoors.
Whether you choose the Porongurup Wine Region or Castle Rock and associated trails, take your time to simply savour the area. It really is like no other.
